Have you ever wondered what it would be like to look back to when you were pregnant and the day your baby was born?

I've been thinking a lot lately about how amazing motherhood is and how much we need it to be documented. Not just for ourselves, but also for others. As a first time momma, I thrived on seeing other's journeys. I grew more confident and more fearless with every photo and video that I saw. I watched numerous videos and saw hundreds of beautiful photos that inspired me to believe in the birth process. In myself. In my own body's ability to grow and brith my babies. It fave me something that every mother needs, and now I want to be apart of that inspiration and change.

When you decide to document your full journey with me, we'll start with where it all began (well...almost haha). Maternity sessions have my heart! I LOVE baby bumps and watching a momma grow and glow so magnificently. To see her eyes light up when I ask her to think about her baby. It's the best 9 or so months, regardless of its potential challenges. It's my goal during your session to document all that sweetness. I want you to remember how beautiful you are and how growing a tiny human only makes you that much more stunning.

Once we have your maternity session done, the waiting begins. I wish I could properly explain to you how honored and excited I am to be waiting alongside you for your new baby's arrival. I'm on call for 5 weeks, and not a day goes by that I don't think about how amazing it's going to be when you first lay eyes on your precious little peanut. I am constantly in awe when I receive the honor of documenting those first moments for families. There is no getting those first moments back, so I'm all in. I'm invested in a way that you've never seen before because I know what this day means to you. I know just how long and hard you've worked and waiting for this moment. I've been there myself, and let me tell you...you won't want to forget this. Ever. With that said, when the day finally comes, I'll be there by your side. I'll be there documenting every step of the way, but I'll also be there if you need another hand to hold or a word of encouragement through a tough contraction. Because I am for you. My mommas are extremely important to me, and I want you to know that you can count on me.

Your baby is here now. The marathon of labor is finished, and now you can just enjoy some time getting to know your new babe. With this package, you can choose between a Fresh 48 session at the place of birth, or a Lifestyle Newborn session in the comfort of your own home sometime in the next couple weeks after birth. Honestly, I love both options so much because both are so unique to your story. In case you aren't familiar with what a Fresh 48 is, it is just photos within the first 48 hours after birth (in the hospital, birth center, or home for homebirths). I love getting to photograph all the littles in their clear hospital bassinets, along with siblings meeting their baby brother/sister for the very first time. It's so amazing to watch dad's first time swaddling their baby, or mom's first breastfeeding attempt. I really do get to document life's most incredible journey and even though it's a challenging career, I couldn't see myself doing anything else.

By the end of it all, I'll pretty much consider us friends. You have opened your home and your heart to me and trusted me with something so sacred and special. This is something that I could never thank you enough for. In return, you will always get my best and beyond. Once we have reached this level of friendship, there is pretty much nothing I wouldn't do for you and your family. By giving me your trust, you gain all of mine, and I am forever grateful. And that's why I love my job. I get to work with some of the most amazing families in a time of their lives that means the world to them. I get to work with YOU, documenting your most treasured moments. And let me tell you something...neither of us will forget these days.
