About the Session

Congratulations, your baby is finally here! This is a really amazing time in your life. You've delved headfirst into the postpartum stage, you have a fresh, little nugget to take care of, and it seems like everything has changed (and will continue to change)! What I love about Fresh 48 sessions is that they capture all those beautiful, raw moments in your birthplace that you'll always want to remember. You'll get to look back at just how tiny and squishy your baby was, remember how your other children interacted with them, and allow yourself to just take a break while I work some magic. This session is typically 1-2 hours sometime during the first 48 hours of life. It can be in the hospital, birth center, or in the comfort of your own home. This is not a posed newborn shoot, but rather a lifestyle documentation. After all, the candid moments are always the best! *Also, note that this is an on-call session. I will be available to you from 37 weeks until your baby is born in order to make sure that I am able to make it! You are able to contact me at any time during this period, and I will be there.
